Federal Policy Advocacy

One of the Partnership’s central strategies is to engage foundations, advocacy organizations, practitioners, and community and thought leaders to advance equity-focused, multi-field efforts for policy change that creates healthy people and healthy places.

Recently, the Partnership has played a more direct role in advocating for federal policy change. The Partnership has used a variety of approaches to influence federal policy efforts, including outreach to the field, government officials, and members of the Administration in different agencies. The Partnership’s support of policy advocacy have advanced the organization’s principles and priorities and contributed to federal administrative and/or legislative policy change.
