Missouri Convergence

The Missouri Convergence Partnership (MCP) was initially convened in January 2008. Their efforts are modeled after the national Convergence Partnership and seek to coordinate the efforts of funders and key partners to ‘accelerate and support changes that promote healthy people in healthy places, with an emphasis on policy and environmental changes.’ MCP’s vision is to promote and sustain community changes that enable healthy lifestyles. The mission is to accelerate and advance policy and environmental changes in Missouri that encourage healthy eating and active living. The Missouri Convergence consists of approximately six organizations representing regional health and community foundations. The Missouri Convergence Partnership
