Northwest Convergence

The Northwest Health Foundation (NWHF) and Kaiser Permanente are working to generate broader interest in funder-level “convergence” in Oregon and the greater northwest region (including Washington), while simultaneously focusing on efforts to stimulate partnerships and environmental policy change within communities to improve opportunities for healthy nutrition and regular physical activity. Efforts to expand collaboration around environmental policy change for healthy people and healthy places in the Northwest at the funder level are just beginning. Kaiser and NWHF are reaching out to other funders in the region to gauge interest in convergence.
