Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This project will activate and utilize Hunting Park, an 87-acre park within the Fairmount Park system in North Philadelphia, as a site for healthy food resources, specifically a community garden, Farmers’ Market, and continue fostering community engagement around the stewardship of the park with a special focus on safety and youth leadership. Addressing safety issues in and around the park and expanding its resources will result in an increase in its use as a recreational resource for the community.
